Making well thought decisions without influence
Make a poor choice then plead ignorance
I’m fragile and unstable
I live my life based on Aesop’s fables
But trip up on every sentence
If we treat grief with reverence
I pay my respects to the clerk
He looks at me benevolent
And there’s wealth from all this suffering

Nothing to show and what comes next but passport photos and a shared address
Redemption comes in the form of a joke;
There isn’t any, but we still have hope
